Fergie Jenkins
Cubs Hall of Famer Ferguson Jenkins was clean shaven during his long successful stint with the Cubs in the 60s and early 70s. During that time he had six consecutive 20-win seasons, something that the Cubs have not seen before or since.
He spent several seasons in the American League with the Red Sox and the Rangers, before returning to the Cubs for the final season of his career. He made a bold decision that year. He went with the thinner "Snidely Whiplash" mustache, going against the grain of his bushy mustachioed colleagues.
