In October it will be 100 years since the last Cubs World Series championship.

That kind of a drought can't just be the result of ineptitude or bad luck. There must be a more cosmic force at work here. During this 100th anniversary season, the staff at Just One Bad Century is going through Cubs history with a fine-toothed comb to uncover moments of bad karma that may be contributing to this incredible losing streak.

Every month we'll present a bad karma story, ask for your help in coming up with solutions for reversing that bad karma, and then we'll actually try to execute those plans. Maybe, just maybe, if we all work together, we can chip away at that black cloud following the Cubs.
